The following statements are useful as a guide to the facilities and access available to guests. Further specific details can be given on request to enable guests to gauge suitability for their individual needs. Visits to The Sunnyside to assess the same prior to booking are welcomed, with some notice please, to ensure specific room types are available for inspection and assessment.

Car parking

Entrance
Entrance to the building and the whole of the ground floor is on level access. The ground floor public areas comprise a porch, large through lounge/bar area, reception area, unisex toilet and restaurant.
Ground floor bedrooms
Accessed through the rear end of the restaurant are two guest bedrooms, one double bedded room to the rear aspect and one larger twin bedded room to the front aspect with bay window. Both have built in wardrobes.
Both have en-suite bathing facilities, each has a toilet, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, one with a shower enclosure and one with a traditional step in bath with a mixer shower connected to the bath taps over.
The building does not have a lift; there are two dog-leg staircases to the first and second floors from either end of the building. There are sixteen stairs to the first floor. Assistance with luggage is available on request at Reception and always offered on checking in and out.
The Sunnyside has a manual push wheelchair available for guest use (subject to availability and at own risk), there are also several local companies offering mobility vehicles and aids of various types for hire who also deliver and collect.
